Wendell Lee, 65, of Prattville, passed away Monday May 22, 2017 after an extended illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at his home on Sunday May 28 at 2:00 PM. Wendell was born in Troy, Alabama on January 1, 1952 to the late Eugene Lee and Victoria Byrd Lee. He enjoyed all types of music was an area disc jockey for many years and was known on the radio as "Chris Stevens". He was fun loving and enjoyed entertaining and would often do Elvis impersonations. Wendell Lee, 65, of Prattville, passed away Monday May 22, 2017 after an extended illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at his home on Sunday May 28 at 2:00 PM. Wendell was born in Troy, Alabama on January 1, 1952 to the late Eugene Lee and Victoria Byrd Lee. He enjoyed all types of music was an area disc jockey for many years and was known on the radio as "Chris Stevens". He was fun loving and enjoyed entertaining and would often do Elvis impersonations. For many years he held Halloween parties which would be attended by children and people of all ages. He will always be remembered for his thoughtful ways and his willingness to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Scott; two daughters and sons in law, Amy and James Lightsey, Autumn and Tommy Locke; two sons and daughters in law, Greg and Alesha Scott, Tommy and Autumn Locke; a brother Randall Lee; seventeen grandchildren, Keith, Amy, Scotty, Kaitlyn and Jessica Bogard, Carly and Thomas Posmituck, Kylie, Gage and Morgan Scott, Matt Cooley, Katelyn Lightsey, Matthew Locke, Jess Smith, Kalem, Sage and Tristan; four great grandchildren, Hailee, Kameron, Jayden and Mason "Jar"; a special friend, his lab "Max" and a host of other relatives and many close friends.
