WILLIS, David Pruitt, Jr., 55, of Prattville, passed away Thursday March 26, 2015. Funeral services were held Sunday March 29 at 3:00 PM at the Prattville First United Methodist Church with Dr. Rob Couch and Pastor Drew Willis officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Level United Methodist Church Cemetery.
David was born in Montgomery on October 24, 1959. He graduated from Autauga County High School, John Patterson Technical College and Troy University with degrees in Math and Computer Science. He worked for International Paper Company with over thirty years of service and was a...

WILLIS, David Pruitt, Jr., 55, of Prattville, passed away Thursday March 26, 2015. David was born in Montgomery on October 24, 1959. He graduated from Autauga County High School, John Patterson Technical College and Troy University with degrees in Math and Computer Science. He worked for International Paper Company with over thirty years of service and was a longtime member of the Prattville First United Methodist Church where his father once served as Senior Pastor.
He was an outdoorsman and spent many enjoyable days hunting and fishing with his daughter, Tatum. He also enjoyed horseback riding with his family and will always be remembered as a dedicated and loving husband, father, son and brother.
He was preceded in death by his father, the Reverend D. Pruitt Willis, Sr. and father in law, Albert D. Owens.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Angie Willis; daughter Tatum Elizabeth Willis; his mother, Billie Gay Willis, all of Prattville; sisters and brothers in law, Charlotte and Dr. Kenneth Nichols of Prattville, Carol and Mark Prater of Birmingham; mother in law, Elsie Owens of Prattville; sister and brother in law, Sandra and Darrell Faint of Huntsville and a host of nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends. Active pallbearers were be Robert Nichols, Jonathan Faint, Josh Faint, Willis Nichols, Brian Nichols, Cole Prater and Fowler Prater. Honorary pallbearers were Bo Creamer, Mark Prater, Darrell Faint, Dr. Kenneth Nichols, Jason Allums, Richard Henry, Dean Hayes, James Hayes, William Springer and I.P. family and friends.
